I started working at P.F. Chang’s about 5 months ago and have recently started on the cook line from doing prep. Generally speaking my preference is the “stock velveting” which is a slower cooking at 300* and the meat retains the marinade, but doesn’t have that fried or battered outside. Again, all preference. But my “go to” now is basically a very natural meat with the stir fry sauce. It’s really good that way.

I have made this many times and my family loves it! I got a special request from my son to make it for his 18th birthday tomorow. Thank you!

This soup is SO good. Ya hear lentil, barley, and kale and your mind goes "ew Health food :(" but it's so flavorful and filling. I always want to eat more because it's so tasty but I can't because it's so hearty and filling that one bowl does the job.

Can it be made with wheat flour as well?

I don't know wtf is happening but I have now for some months not getting vegan notifications - not from any of the channels even the ones I've been subscribed to for over 12 years! Some nonsense up with YT. Will now watch all videos I haven't seen.

ive been (as close to as possible) 100% vegan for 8 years now. i still stand by the idea that more people being somewhat vegan is way way better for the cause than a few people being 100% vegan.

I bought a version of this that is almost like a carbon copy of yours. Everything except the name and the add-in of a mechanism that allowed you to adjust the slice thickness. I bought mine from walmart here in Canada.

I know I‘m late to the seitan party, but just stumbled upon this video and wanted to give it a try. While washing the bits and pieces never came together, everything turned to a texture like dissolved toilet paper and I had no way to strain it, either it clogged the holes or went straight through them in different colanders. Does anyone know what might have went wrong?

Lisa! I'm sorry to hear about the burnout. I really wish you could have gotten some kickback from two recent purchases that you inspired- I bought the black sesame drink- and I've been really enjoying it. I also ordered the Ketchup Cheetos from Canada for a ridiculous amount of money ($60 for two bags) , and they are OK. Not as delicious as I was hoping, but I am recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and I"m on prednisone, and my taste is all off. My kids were excited to try them though. I am here for any vlog content you wan to put out!

I'm so glad you're still sharing your journey. I love this attitude. I've been vegetarian for more than 20 years. I was strictly vegan for about four years, in the last three years I've decided that "vegan ish" is the best way for me. I make room now for other values sometimes being more important in my decision making and that makes it sustainable for me 💜

I made these this morning and they turned out great. They didn’t look the best and I tried a few different ways of frying but they still had that crunch and had a most pleasant slightly dense but soft texture. But it’s a soft dense, not a stiff, firm dense.

I love this this is amazing I actually went to a local Vietnamese grocery store the only one that I trust because they have so many vegan and vegetarian options I was able to find these really cool vegan like slices that's what they're called it's like a dehydrated form of protein I love it oh my God it's so good and I cannot wait to try it with this recipe that you have because I was able to get the vegetarian chicken bouillon powder from there and also a really affordable mushroom powder I might do one part vegan chicken and then one part mushroom bouillon 😅😊. I love your recipes because I'm really trying to stay vegan and vegetarian and you always are so positive I love your sharing thank you so much you've changed my life you have no idea and I need to know do you have a book yet
